Our mission is to show the love of Christ as we provide clothes, toiletries  and food to those community members in need

Donations

We accept all donations. Currently in need of all sizes of shirts, blankets, men’s and women’s underwear, bottled water and pre-packaged non-perishable food

Where we came From

The CU Canteen Run, established in 2003, is a Christian ministry that partners with The Salvation Army.  We feed and clothe the most vulnerable  living on the streets of Champaign Urbana without discrimination year round.  The Canteen Run not only serves those on the streets, we also help bring
awareness of homelessness through volunteering.  Our goal is not only to serve the immediate needs but to make relationships and bring help to our guests.
 
The Canteen Run is operated by volunteers of all faiths and is solely supported by donations from private parties and many local churches.  Everyone is welcome to join us.
 
We are always looking for volunteers and donations to help with this ministry.
